 What is a succubus?

Most are probably familiar with the folklore surrounding the devilish lover and its myth. Despite being the Hebrew and Christian word for "succubus," the most commonly referred to when talking about this subject, the concept of lustful spirits, spirits of darkness, and even loving heavenly spiritual partners has been present in the unspoken fantasies of all kinds of different cultures, east and west, all across human history. For a very long time, the female spirit has been appearing inside the imaginary worlds of men, seen as a gatekeeper of the spirit world. This theme persists, as do the revealing experiences that revolved around it, across several distinct cultures and millennia. So what is it? Is this to be deemed as the old superstitions of dying cultures? Or should we take a more psychoanalytic approach? Is it the anima we are talking about? Scientific and religious institutions are skeptical of or heavily biased in favor of these manifestations.

But maybe we can address this in a healthy way that encompasses the whole complexity of the spiritual, psychological, and artistic significance that reverberates inside the human spirit. We should assume its existence not only as real but as independent of our own. We may be tempted to avoid the skeptic's approach to reports of people who had first-hand experiences with these kinds of beings and instead value the subjective nature of these reported experiences.

The phenomenon may be real, but not only in the sense that encountering a succubus is of emotional and psychic significance as it represents the externalization of their own fears and desires. It is as real as its own imagination and fantasies are. The entity overlaps and overrides the normal function of the brain; it attaches itself to the person who is having the mystical experience.

Physical manifestation is possible but not usual, and most of the time it is very mild. We can speculate with a healthy quota of skepticism about the nature of succubus using the ideas in which our postmodern technocratic era has submerged us, but that surely won't suffice, since in a way, this may be a symptom of it.

There is no way, with the set of tools we currently have, to arrive at any other conclusion than that we don't know what it is or what it does, but that it is certainly there, and by there, we mean very close. Its influence on human affairs, however, goes mostly unnoticed. If we were to consider the general experience, we could say that succubus can assume multiple forms inside the ecstatic states of practitioners, some of which are terrifying and others of which are more pleasant by human standards. Under the disguise of a succubus, there are a large array of spirits that can be presented, but we are talking now about the ones following the name of the goddess.

They show the whole complexity and diversity of emotions that humans feel. If we consider the nature of how communication with these spirits is put forward, we can affirm that they are highly telepathic and intelligent. extremely limited to physical action in our world, but also extremely aware of it. They can predict and guess with great accuracy and understand complex abstractions. They can be tricky and very deceitful to our perception since they don't abide by our moral institutions.

If we come to the conclusion that she exists, I feel obligated to warn you that this can be very dangerous; they must be treated with respect, kindness, and without fear or prejudice, and building a bridge takes practice and patience.

The experiences can differ a lot depending on the person's psychological, biological, spiritual, and cultural constitution. These kinds of experiences are very strong and permeate various aspects of a person's life. So be warned.

The succubus puts intent in the victims' brains, which is translated into different patterns that arise in the form of strange thoughts or images. That is how she attempts to communicate. The veil that separates our worlds and the limitations posed by our physiology and by our own beliefs or spiritual tendencies are the first barriers that we have to overcome.

Those who are looking forward to having a sexual experience often offer their own sexual energy to attract a succubus. The sexual energy concentrates not only in the genitals but also in the lower abdomen. It is important to consider that the entities on the sinister path tend to be predatory in nature. So, even if you get to experience a strong manifestation, it is important to consider it carefully. Spirits tend to want something in return.

A healthy progression is a slow and moderate one, which allows us to mitigate the more shocking, dramatic, and frightening aspects that, while sometimes desirable, can undeniably reshape a person's mind, change the way we see the world, and even lead us down a new path in life. Facing the dark goddess means leaving behind the infantile ways that persist in our lives.  A Place of Worship 

When we are trying to communicate with a succubus spirit, it is recommended that we dedicate a shrine to her. WHY? Communication with spirits takes time and effort, and it does not happen spontaneously until there is a bond between the summoner and the spirit. This bond evolves slowly over time. One could certainly invite a succubus to come into one's life with only the power of thought, but that is certainly the most difficult way to do it. It means making things more difficult than they should be. For a spirit to consider putting some of her own into trying to build a relationship, a significant offering is needed. It is critical to optimize your own energy output. That is why a shrine is recommended. A shrine concentrates the apprentice's intention and devotion on its spirit partner. It should certainly represent what the succubus means to him. A combination of evoking images, smells, and textures helps the summoner tap faster into that state of consciousness that connects him to his spirit partner. It's about meeting halfway. There is a special mental state that takes us closer to these kinds of beings, and building a small temple will certainly help. Of course, most of us mortals can't afford to build a temple and make all kinds of offerings, but building a dedicated shrine in a little corner of our room will suffice. The shrine will become an anchor point for the spirit. It is important to keep it in a dark or dimly lit place since the sunlight will affect its properties. It should be kept away from anyone who is not involved with the procedure and always be approached with a specific intent.

 

Signs of Manifestation

You had already chosen the place for your shrine in a dark room and made sure that there would be no interruptions. You light the red candles on the altar, burn the sandalwood, and say loving words to your spirit partner. Sometimes you will prefer music to help with your meditation; other times you will prefer silence. The room is tidy, clean, and dark. You do some breathing exercises and focus on your body and emotions; you realize that whether you are happy, sad, or anxious, these feelings are going to fuel your experience. Accept your body as it is, accept your soul as it is, breathe, and relax.

You feel her presence in the room; she brings a certain feeling of uneasiness with her. This makes sense considering her origins and the motives of her visit. You accept this presence as it is and try to calm the instinctive fear. As you accept her sinister nature, the atmosphere slowly starts to become more and more dense, and as long as you let it come closer and give in to her dark embrace, your body starts to feel good, and you notice yourself sinking, changing your vibrational state. The feeling becomes a little overwhelming, and despite the fact that you could certainly stop what you are doing, you don't want to. This state of mind you achieved gets you closer to her, and you know it may not be as easy to achieve the next time, so you remain calm. You wonder if she will be able to get to you. Your body starts to feel different—it feels beautiful and beastlike, and the atmosphere turns into electricity. You try to stay still and keep your body calm, but with this vibration comes a strange, intoxicating feeling of ecstasy. You realize that you are in the presence of your spirit lover. It is up to you now. What you give and what you keep should always be your sole concern, and you should never share your experiences with the profane. 
If you give up reason a little bit and learn to use your intuition, you'll learn to communicate and understand her desires and fears, what she likes and what she doesn't like, and believe me, there are a lot of things she doesn't like.
